Military Genius Definition
Military Genius -- Examination of Military Geniuses, World Wide Conflicts and Global Domination by Empires of the Future

1. What is the definition of a military genius?
In its most pure form, a military genius is a war strategist, who can take an inferior military and defeat a superior adversary. A military genius can be the founder of a great empire (Genghis Khan or Alexander the Great). You can be considered a military genius while not actually winning the war campaign most linked to the military genius.
Hannibal of Carthage is the most infamous military genius, who ended up losing the war in the end. A military genius has to be able to master battles on both offense and defense. With surprise or unusual attacks, a military genius can take the fighting to the unwary opponent. Likewise if the military genius is the one being attacked and in a defensive position, a true military genius will be able to design a way to win the conflict.
2. Who determines who the military geniuses of history are?
Over many, many centuries, various military historians from all parts of the world have meticulously studied the records of battles fought in ancient days and more modern times. While the experts who study war don't always agree, it can be objectively determined who the greatest military minds really were. However, if there is no historical information available for certain eras or civilizations, then certain military geniuses would not be known to the average military historian.
3. Who are the greatest military geniuses in world history?
Practically all mainstream military historians consider without question that Genghis Khan, Hannibal of Carthage, Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar of Rome are the most preeminent military geniuses of recorded Human history. Military leaders such as General Robert E Lee and Field Marshal Erwin Rommel are more controversial because of the fact these two military leaders are more recent to history. There are probably many other military geniuses from history, but we limit our study to the most well known of the possible military geniuses both actual and theoretical.
4. How do we know if someone is a real and actual military genius?
There's no means to determine a military genius for certain because there will always be a few military historians, who will write detailed treatises explaining why certain military leaders are not true military geniuses or that the proposed military genius is overrated or didn't achieve meaningful success in the overall war campaign. Such endless arguments are what make the examination of history so fascinating.
5. How do military geniuses matter or have significance in modern times?
The study of past military geniuses allows us to understand why certain empires or civilizations became dominant or eventually disappeared from existence. The only way to improve the future is to learn from the darkest areas of previous history. If we can't learn how exactly Genghis Khan created the largest geographical empire in the past, then we can't prepare for the future by preventing the success of similar future tyrants. Of course, a real military genius with access to a military will wreak havoc in the world no matter what we discern from prior times. However, the fact we can't eradicate all possible despots doesn't mean we shouldn't try to prevent the massacres of the future.
6. Is there a military genius or military geniuses alive today?
It's difficult to determine who amongst us today is a military genius because the fighting of wars between military super powers seems to be out of date. With nuclear weapons at their disposal, the conventional weapons of a super power can't achieve any permanent success against other super powers since these conventional forces can be wiped out instantly by nuclear war devices delivered by the enemy. Also, in the modern era, it's rare for the military of two opposing sides to be of close enough strength to make it possible to determine if said military is led by a military genius.
7. How do I become a military genius?
Becoming a recognized military genius in the 21st century is extremely difficult given you can't raise your own personal military in the civilized world. You might be the greatest military mind in the Universe, but you would have no way of proving it on the battlefield. You could join the military organizations of the United States, Russia or China, but even if you became the highest ranking military officer in your nation you would have no hope of ever waging war against another super power due to the existence of nuclear weapons. There's no way for you to prove your military genius in a future war.
Learning to be a tactical and strategic military genius is possible to attain for yourself by carefully and thoroughly studying individual battles and the collective wars of the past. However, from a practical standpoint, you will never have the ability to practice these impressive intellectual techniques because the fighting of world wars between military super powers probably will not happen anytime soon if ever again.
Even if you could lead a powerful army to total victory over the unfortunate adversary, you cannot achieve the status of a true military genius until after your endeavors have been meticulously reviewed and judged by the military historians of the distant far future. It is a known fact that genius is rarely understood, appreciated and recognized in its own time. Yet hundreds or perhaps thousands of years from now, your name could become legendary and iconic as the greatest military genius in the history of Mankind.
8. Is a present day or future military genius going to establish a true worldwide empire over all of Earth?
Because of the extremely sensitive nature of this topic as it relates to the national security of the United States of America, this answer has become highly classified (above top secret). This top level security clearance is needed to avoid initiating the signs of the final apocalypse, which would begin the societal meltdown leading to World War 3.
9. Is it possible for a developing or third world nation led by a military genius be able to conquer the Earth?
Given the negative impact on national security that an answer to this question would have, all materials related to this question are highly classified (above top secret).
10. Is global domination or conquest by a world empire good or bad for people?
A single world empire would be beneficial if it united the world and greatly increased the financial and environmental well being of the entire Human population. However, all past world empires have never cared about the common citizen. A perfect Utopian existence based in an empire, spanning the entire planet, doesn't seem to be realistic.
A true global empire crushes people instead of lifting them up. A world empire might be the most efficient way to develop, control and prepare a planet for the conquest of the stars. However, given the intense bitterness between religions and different countries, it doesn't appear likely a voluntary world empire is going to be established any time soon.
It's always possible a military genius could arise who could create a singular world empire over the whole and complete world. Yet it should be noted there has never been an empire, which has literally controlled the entire Earth at one time. As great as the Roman Empire and Mongol Empire were, they only ruled and dominated a small area of the entire planet. We might benefit from world unification, but from studying history we don't want or need a single world empire.
